Thousands of local men and women are out there right now, earning great wages and benefits.

The Heavy Constructors Association of the Greater Kansas City Area Industry Advancement Scholarships are specifically for people who are planning or preparing for a career in heavy construction. The amount of the scholarships is up to $2000 per academic semester ($4,000 per academic year).

Recipients MUST meet the following qualifications:
• Be enrolled as a full time student.
• Demonstrate a commitment to obtaining a career in heavy construction.

Preference will be given to scholarship applications received from:
• College Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors
• Kansas City metro area residents
• Children of construction industry employees, with additional preference given to those whose parents work for Heavy Constructors Association member companies.
• Individuals who have a plan to seek summer employment in construction, with additional preference given to those whose summer employment has been or will be with a Heavy Constructors Association member company.
