The Heavy Constructors of Greater Kansas City consistently promote higher levels of funding for safe, modern highways, roads, bridges and water treatment facilities at both the state and federal levels.

Association leadership and staff work with local, state and federal officials to encourage safety studies and advocate for much-needed – and too often dangerously overdue – improvements to our aging public infrastructure.

The HCA is a recognized leader in the campaign for higher investments in public works via driving positive public sentiment and engaging politicians to champion better roads, bridges and waterways to better the Kansas City metro area.

The HCA maintains close contact with public officials and supports candidates for public office at the federal, state, county and city levels in both Kansas and Missouri.
