I’m a passionate business owner who takes pride in providing the community with safe construction services.
I’ve been a part of the construction industry for years and one thing I noticed is the need for female business owners—so owning and operating Rising Construction Services is the perfect fit! The people that I’m able to meet and the new connections I get to make on the job have been more rewarding that I ever thought possible.
Our goal at Rising is to provide exceptional service while maintaining a healthy, safe and diverse working atmosphere. We aim to streamline the traffic and erosion control industries by implementing different strategies and utilizing advanced technologies.

What types of challenges have you faced as a women business owner in the construction industry?
Being underestimated.
What advice would you give another woman who may be considering working in construction?
DO IT! We need more of us! It’s a wonderful industry and the ability for growth is endless.
What is one of your greatest builds, projects, or something you are most proud of accomplishing?
I am extremely proud to have secured both scopes of work that we provide for the KC Streetcar Project. We are providing Union Certified Flaggers and our Erosion Control Services.
